Does an always-connected office mean an always-on camera or recording?
No. Being in the shared office lets teammates see your availability and start a conversation. Microphone, recording, and active-app visibility have separate settings. Agree on these settings with your team, taking privacy and working hours into account. Joining the office does not mean every conversation is recorded.
When should I use Virtual Office instead of Meeting Bot?
Use Virtual Office to see availability and have everyday team conversations. Use Meeting Bot to transcribe scheduled Zoom, Teams, or Google Meet calls. For a recording you already have, use File Transcribe.
How do employees show whether now is a good time to talk?
Employees can use availability or focus status and add a short work memo. Teammates can review that context before starting a conversation.
Does VoicePing require employee monitoring?
No. Workspace administrators choose whether to enable time tracking and current-app visibility according to company policy.
Can multilingual employees choose their own language?
Participants can select a supported language and follow the original transcript and translation. Available languages vary by speech and output mode. Check the languages and settings you need in your workspace before a meeting.
Can external guests join from a browser?
Yes, when browser-based Virtual Office access is enabled by a workspace admin. Guests can join through an invitation URL and optional password without installing the desktop app.
Can departments or confidential teams use separate spaces?
Yes. Multiple floors support member assignment and access restrictions, and recording visibility can be scoped to specific users or groups.
