Questions about File Transcribe
Which audio and video formats are supported?
VoicePing accepts AAC, ASF, AVI, FLAC, M4A, M4V, MKV, MOV, MP3, MP4, OGG, WAV, WebM, and WMV.
What is the maximum file size?
The File Transcribe interface accepts files up to 2 GB each. A separate duration cap is not currently published.
How do I process several files?
The current interface selects one file per submission. Submit additional files one after another; every file becomes its own tracked processing job.
Do I have to translate every uploaded file?
No. Select a translation language when you need translated text or localized media. You can also process a file for transcription and an AI summary without selecting a translation language.
Which languages are available for this workflow?
The workflow supports Arabic, Chinese, English, French, German, Hindi, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Khmer, Korean, Malay, Burmese, Nepali, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Thai, and Vietnamese. The source language can also be auto-detected.
Which subtitle formats can I download?
Completed jobs offer SRT and ASS subtitle downloads. Video jobs can also produce a separate video with translated subtitles embedded.
What is the difference between subtitle files and embedded subtitles?
SRT and ASS are separate timed subtitle files for a video platform, LMS, or editor. An embedded-subtitle video has the translated subtitles rendered into the downloadable video itself.
Can I control the embedded subtitle appearance?
Yes. For video output you can preview white, yellow, or blue subtitle text in small, medium, or large sizes before submitting the job.
How do dubbing outputs differ for audio and video uploads?
Video uploads can produce a dubbed video. Audio uploads can produce dubbed audio as an MP3. Both use the selected translation language, and the current interface does not expose voice selection.
How can I manage processing jobs and storage?
Processing history shows progress and finalized STT minutes. Depending on job state, you can retry, stop, or delete the job. Stored source media and generated outputs can be reviewed and deleted from workspace storage.
Where can I find the transcript and summary later?
Completed files can be opened as Meeting Logs, where you can return to the recording, transcript, translation, and AI-generated summary.
