At the 2025 conference, approximately 200 participants from over 50 central banks attended, with 30 companies and organizations participating as sponsors and speakers.
At this global event, the real-time AI translation service “VoicePing” was adopted as a crucial tool for overcoming language barriers. In this article, we interviewed Ms. Joelle Nader, CMO of Mint and Print, who was in charge of the event management, to learn in detail how VoicePing supported the event and facilitated multilingual communication.
About Mint and Print International Conference

The Mint and Print International Conference is an international conference where central banks from around the world gather to discuss the latest technologies and innovations in banknote printing, coin minting, and security printing. This biennial event brings together participants from over 50 central banks, along with 30 sponsors and speakers representing paper mills, mints, printing companies, and processing firms.
Representatives from each central bank present on new ideas and technological innovations, engaging in active discussions with other participants. This event serves as a valuable opportunity to share the latest trends in the global financial security industry and build networks.
Could you give us a brief self-introduction and tell us about your role at this event?
Joelle: My name is Joelle Nader. I serve as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Mint and Print. At this Mint and Print International Conference, I was responsible for overseeing the entire event together with our CEO. I coordinated everything from the planning stages to the day-of operations.
Could you tell us about the scale of the event and the participants?
Joelle: This was a three-day event with approximately 200 participants. Representatives from over 50 central banks gathered, and 30 companies and organizations participated as sponsors and speakers. The presentations were mainly conducted in English, but there were also speakers who presented in French, such as the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania.
Background of VoicePing Implementation
What was the background behind deciding to implement a voice translation tool, and why did you choose VoicePing?
Joelle: At international conferences like this, participants speaking various languages gather. We needed to create an environment where everyone could comfortably understand the content. We conducted thorough research using ChatGPT and other tools, comparing several AI translation applications.
The reason we chose VoicePing was, first and foremost, the speed of communication response. When we sent inquiry emails, while many companies didn’t respond, VoicePing responded very quickly. They answered our questions professionally and in a timely manner.
Next, the price was reasonable. The fact that we could use it within our budget was a major deciding factor.
And most importantly, there was live support. Since we were using this type of tool for the first time, we needed technical support. We asked Ryo (interviewer and sales & support representative) for demos and trials multiple times, and he was extremely helpful during the preparation phase. Honestly, without Ryo’s support, I don’t think I could have managed this event with confidence.
Actual Use Cases and Results
How did you actually utilize VoicePing?
Joelle: We distributed earphones to all participants and had them connect to their smartphones or devices. Using the QR code that Ryo created for us, participants could easily access the VoicePing link and switch to their preferred language.
Throughout the three-day conference, 5-6 participants continuously used VoicePing day after day. Many presentations were smoothly translated, and participants were able to understand the content in their native languages.
Could you tell us about any particularly impressive VoicePing use cases?
Joelle: What was interesting was the case of a speaker who wasn’t physically at the venue but continued to listen to the presentations from his room using VoicePing. The speaker was Stain Strauss, and although he actually listened in English without using the translation function, he was able to continue participating even without being in the venue through VoicePing. I think this kind of usage demonstrates new possibilities for future conferences and events.
Challenges and Areas for Improvement
Were you able to solve the challenges by actually using VoicePing? Conversely, were there any points where you thought “this could be improved a bit more”?
Joelle: Overall, we are very satisfied. The three-day event proceeded smoothly. However, there was one technical issue. When the Governor of the Central Bank of Mauritania was presenting in French, since the previous speaker had been in English, participants needed to switch the language from English to French.
We announced the language switch to all 200 participants in advance, but the speaker started speaking immediately, and we didn’t have enough time for the switch. As a result, 200 people accessed the app simultaneously, and the language switch occurred while the presentation was in progress, causing the app to temporarily crash.
I believe this was due to our lack of preparation. We should have secured time to have the speaker wait a moment, allowing time for the app to stabilize. The problem was resolved by pressing F5 to refresh, but automatic language switching or a more rapid switching function would have been helpful.
VoicePing Team: Thank you for the valuable feedback. We are currently developing automatic language selection and switching features, which are scheduled to be improved in the near future. At your next event, we should be able to provide a smoother experience.
Event Preparation and Support System
Were there any difficulties with equipment setup or VoicePing installation during event preparation?
Joelle: During the preparation phase, Ryo gave us technical advice on the necessary equipment, which was really helpful. We were able to properly prepare equipment such as mixers, and on the day of the event, everything proceeded smoothly thanks to the team at the venue and Ryo’s remote support.
Did the remote support plan work well?
Joelle: Yes, it worked well. Of course, it would be ideal to have support staff physically present, but we were able to handle everything without particular problems with remote support. Even when the crash occurred, if Ryo had been physically at the venue, the result probably would have been the same. This was more due to our rushing too much rather than an app problem.
Future Prospects
How about future goals and continuing cooperation with VoicePing?
Joelle: If we have opportunities to invite speakers at similar conferences and events in the future, we would definitely like to use VoicePing. Also, if there are projects in the same field that require similar processes, we hope to continue our cooperation with VoicePing.
VoicePing Team: Thank you very much. In addition to one-time event plans, we also offer monthly subscription plans, so if you have ongoing global communication needs, please consider them.
Summary
We heard about the implementation case of VoicePing at the Mint and Print International Conference 2025.
At a global conference with approximately 200 participants from over 50 central banks, VoicePing’s real-time AI translation function enabled an environment where all participants could understand the presentation content in their native languages. In particular, the easy access method using QR codes and the remote technical support system were highly evaluated.
There were some technical challenges (crashes during simultaneous language switching by large numbers of people), but this was mainly a matter of operational timing, and improvement is expected in the future with the implementation of automatic language switching functions.
In the highly specialized field of financial security, providing an environment where knowledge can be shared beyond language barriers has become an important case study demonstrating the potential of AI translation tools for future global business events.
We will continue to work diligently on development to provide a more accurate and natural translation experience.
